Rollback lets you undo file-level changes made by Foenix. It runs automatically whenever Foenix modifies files on your site — the previous state is saved so it can be restored if something goes wrong.
Rollback is currently in active development and works for many — but not all — actions. WordPress is a complex environment, and some types of changes can’t yet be reversed automatically. Do not rely on rollback as your only safety net — always keep a backup at the hosting level. Backups →

How rollback works

Before Foenix modifies any file on your site, the previous state is saved. If the change causes an error, Foenix detects the problem and reverts to the saved version automatically.

Limitations

  • Database changes such as published posts, settings, and options are not reversible via rollback
  • If the site is completely broken and the dashboard is inaccessible, rollback cannot help — restore from a hosting backup instead
